Why do I feel that the author will pull some bullshit to somehow make the old man as strong if not stronger than MC?

maybe the headmaster using the orb that Rick party searching, its already showed he kind of had strange power there so no Suprise if he actually really strong with some kind of buff or tool

Thanks for the chapter, but UGH, the way they interjected in the middle a dramatic moment with "power of friendship" bs really screwed the scene. If he had saved if for after instead of wasting time letting the kidnapper have more time, (although it likely won't matter much since the party is OP) if the author decides to pull some bs then that time wasted touting friendship is severely misplaced and would be a direct cause of said bs
