I'm assuming this is based off of Costco, which I have never seen one of. We do have Sam's Club and BJ's Wholesale around here though, but their meat sections aren't all that to write home about.

It's definitely Costco, if the name "Bestco" didn't already spell it out. I'm not sure in Japan, but this definitely feels like a 1-1 with the actual store, the warehouse design, huge bulky portions, especially the same food they serve in the food court.

Fun read, since my parents always went to Costco and I still go shopping there as well so it's fun to read the perspective of someone where a trip to Costco is a fascinating experience. Even if you live alone, if you drive a lot the membership is worth it for the gas alone. Also I was curious about the "burrito" because that sounded like something that wouldn't actually be popular over in Japan so I checked some pictures from Reddit. Seems like instead of a chicken bake they get a bulgogi bake and in the manga one of the options is an Aussie Meat Pie

Costco meat section is legit. Really quality stuff, especially for the price. Definitely something they have an advantage on vs Sam's and BJ's
