Like, fucking hell, you’re on the Internet. Surely you’ve seen enough awkward fucks in your time online to understand that age doesn’t necessarily mean maturity. That’s pretty much the MC here. He lived a blank life learning only what he needed to to make a living. He’s only now getting the opportunity to self-reflect and apply the actual moral values he’s learned. Gotta apply all these ideals in real life to actually be able to say you’re living them out, after all.

@KeiosKod indeed, but I'm also an adult with a job who knows that you can't make any career without learning how to properly socialize with people. I'm an introvert, but between my friends and colleagues I've a social life (or better, I had, damn COVID). How could the MC keep his job if he was that socially awkward? Being good at your job isn't enough, you'll be miserable if you don't learn how to socialize. After marying with Mika, he spent time with her friends, etc etc, so it's damn aggravaring seeing and adult, with a proper job and a wife who's incapable of speaking like a human instead of being Mr Monk (old tv series)

THATS just LIKE him to act like that. he never does things smoothly. everytime he feels like he wants to say something, he always stands in place like he's doing a pose like a hero. and it is quite refreshing to see how him acting like this backfired SOOO much to him this way.

I guess you could say the plan worked in some way. but with a great sacrifice yea. I was half scared that Miyama would die though. Stalker was really naive but for the better.

Man... This chapter was painful. The worst part is that I understand him. Obviously this is no justification for him to have his wife's virginity, but all this insecurity, feeling like you don't matter at all... And having the power to go back in time, it does that to a person. I understand her too, she must be scared as hell and he's not smart enough to defend himself.
