This seems like a pretty good read so far I mean it's pretty much ripping off again!! but I'm very invested with how this turns out I really don't understand the dissatisfaction in these comments pepe complaining about growth and stuff I'm on chapter 3 and we already see character growth and the virginity stuff I just don't get why wouldn't you want to be your partners one and only not only on a emotional level but logical too it's statistically provable that less partners means a stronger happier marriage that's just facts I'm not saying it's most important thing to a relationship but it's indicative of something

From the desc.
This is a virgins idea of what a married 31 year old would think.

It's just leftover evolutionary programming. To a caveman, a woman being a virgin was a guarantee that she wasn't already pregnant with someone else's kid, reducing the chances of them "wasting resources" raising a child that didn't carry their genes.

People who lack self awareness have trouble dealing with these leftover impulses. The divided state of the world today is basically a product of our primitive tribalistic nature.

This wife-switching scenario is exactly the same as the manga 'My Wife is Wagatsuma-san'.

I've skimmed it. Not really my cup of tea, but Boys on the Run was definitely a story about self improvement. The author was clearly aware of the mc's faults and had something he was trying to convey.

The way I see it, this series could go two ways. Either he learns a valuable lesson about trust and goes back to the future to be with his too good for him wife, no longer caring whether he was "first," or he uses time travel to get to be the first and this ends up as nothing but wish fulfillment for fat losers.

@Turkeyjerkey Oh believe me when I say, there is no self improvement, he might set it up to make you think it is a zero to hero story, but it ain't.

Again!! was hardly the first to have such a premise. As for the viginity stuff, the issue lies not in wanting to be the first, but in being dissatisfied with not being the first.

Being anxious and unsatisfied about not being a partner's first can make you miserable in a relationship that should be making you happy, like the one this mc had. It can also make you avoid people who aren't virgins for that alone, causing you to miss out one someone who could be the person of your dreams. It can also cause abuse, if someone becomes angry or insecure about not being the first. It is also a standard that is applied very unfairly across the sexes. Men are pressured to lose their virginity asap and women are pressured to keep it. That pressure can also cause someone to stay in a relationship that is making them miserable because they only had "one" chance to give away their virginity, and society can make them feel obligated to stay with that person. A lower divorce rate does not mean a higher rate of happy marriage. Countries where divorce is illegal have low divorce rates, but you wouldn't assume that means all those relationships are happy.

Also, if you belive those marriage stats are concrete, statistical facts, I highly recommend you watch this video with an open mind. It turns out it's actually very easy for people to manipulate statistics or present them in a misleading way to make them fit an agenda.

I never said again!! was the first or only manga to use this trope, it was just the the most recent and prominent one I could think of, it also uses the same catalyst to time travel it's obviously not an accident that this is the case and no the issue isn't the charecters motivations, it's the senseless hate for people who want a virgin relationship, you straight up call people who want this senseless cavemen, laughter is due to our primal instincts is it wrong to laugh now. I honestly don't care if you want to critique the charecters motivations I personally think it's way to early to do so, we need conflict for there to be a story and this is his conflict, we have already seen it fledge out more with the heroine being a victim of abuse in both timelines and with her crush in the previous one being an obstacle, if it turns out that the ending is just bullshit wish fulfillment than sure it's no better than shitty isekai manga but I personally am intrigued by how this manga will play out.

You just stated a bunch of common sense here obviously obsessing about the past is unhealthy and you shouldn't do that but that is just more evidence for pure relationships verse promiscuous ones, less failed or pointless relationships means less relationships to regret right.

if you want to talk about gendered issues that's fine I don't see the relevance but w/e to that I would say men are the ones who pressure men to lose their virginity because of competition and base instincts and women are the ones pressuring women to keep theirs. men want women to be promiscuous it all comes back to the old adage if I can get the milk for free why buy the cow and that's why women want other women to not sleep around because it means less men who would be willing to purchase the cow which is true, marriage rates drop as promiscuity raises so women have to start being more promiscuous to compensate if you want to talk organizations I would say most organizations like school and religion pressure both sides to not be promiscuous.

I mean yeah I don't deny that stats can be manipulated anyone with a brain would know this but I'm not seeing any stats that show the opposite to be true and I certainly doubt they would be more reliable, if they did exist using common sense and just looking at the common trends of society it shows you that promiscuity is bad, as promiscuity raises marriage and child birth rates drop, single parent house holds are provable to be bad for children, more partners equal more relationships to compare to your current one and give you more doubts about it I mean there are probably way more common sense factors I could think of as to why promiscuity is bad and I wasn't just talking about marriages lasting longer but that stats also show the couple's are happier and more satisfied which plays into my earlier theories.

this is the pre serialization and it already stopped I believe after the serialization was announced found this for free in amazon kindle kinda annoying it stopped on a cliffhanger

he does get less concern about his wife virginity and more like trying to protect her from stalkers and abuse which could have led to her losing her virginity

He does improve like getting friends and then carrying it over to the present he’s wife life does change (for the worst) every time he fails to save her from her stalker or abuser.

Tbh this type of manga can end up in two ways

1. His wife is already perfect enough making him unchange all the change he’s done cause from time to time he remembers how genuinely she loves him though maybe he’d be able to keep the friends he gained though somehow

2. He end up successful in saving his wife from the terrible guys(one of them has a straight murdered him for getting to close to her) she has been before him and idk take her virginity

Tbh 1st ending would be the most perfect ending tbh though it is kinda bitter sweet cause you know she still experience the terrible stuff that happen to her to be able to gain all those sexual experiences

I kinda want to drop this because this is just uncomfy. But... if people say he gets better... maybe. I’m very iffy though. It’s a shame because this could have potential if mc wasn’t so dumb.

We're talking about a guy time traveling to take his wife's virginity and people all up in here dissecting it and arguing about it like it's Shakespeare. 🤣🤣🤣

this manga its pretty good and the MC isn't as bad as other stuff like, dunno, kanojo okorishimasu for example. The main theme is virginity, its stupid but if there wasnt this theme we wouldn't have a fucking story, so stop the whinning and read the fucking manga, crybabys
