I can't help but feel uneasy, it seems like a big "the band is back together" moment but under the surface you can just feel that these are ghosts of the past ensnared in a nefarious trap. Looking forward to seeing how the high school band can save this situation.

anyone else getting bad mojo vibes from this entire thing? Like... all of these hosts are fucked cause they ain't becoming legends on their own talent, and now we learn that if the contract isn't fulfilled the ghosts get fucked too? and wipe the slate clean? does that mean they will just murder the hosts and redo the contracts? Like jeezus man...

Here I was fearing what would have happened if the “stands” were to fight each other, like there are other series if I wanna read invisible beings fighting. :ROFLMAO:

Can’t wait to “listen” to how this visualized music gonna be, especially since it’s supposed to be some epic song made by the legends.

sorry you're not cut out for enjoying this series, I guess.
The manga has set up a whole lot of things in the story that go counter to this being a cool thing, so uh no.

I'm pretty sure the manga sets up the idea that the people they haunt (?) should live their own lives, play on their own, create their own music. Like, Shiori has been shown to want to do her own shit and not rely or even let Hendrix take over.

But at this point I'm wondering how much the writer agrees with me because it looks like they're really into this meeting of legendary musicians.

If it's a clever misdirection, cool.

Eh, not really? The way I see it, the idea for this whole 2nd arc with the 27 club is basically setting up for closure with Jimi. Like, the whole reason Shiori even considered to accept the deal with 27 Club is not necessarily because she don't want to die, but it's because she wants Jimi's music (the one he played solo back then) to be heard by the world.

Shiori's own story ended, this is all Jimi's show now.
