Personally I prefer full chapters, but if the half chapters don't feel like they're half a chapter (which seems to be the case here based on the earlier half chapters posted), then that's fine too. It's only annoying when it really feels like they took a normal chapter and split it in half, interrupting the flow of the chapter.

To be truth thou, his job now, is to deal with the imposters of his group so if he isn't careful, it will make it difficult to hunt them all down.

His group is already attracting negative rep because of the imposters so it will also be difficult to get the cooperation of other people if he makes it worse.

I think the entire draw of the series from the authors view is to be a super mob until the crisis hits. It's Eminence in Shadow without the autism and too much self awareness. I think the fact that MC is quite self serious is the main issue, dude is trying to not have fun in a situation that is built for having fun.

I agree, with the whole secret organization thing he used to ran, there should be more ways to deal with just 2 guards. I understand they want to get the noble plot lines going but like there are so many more convincing way to go about.
