i also didn't catch what the ending quote was. "こんな私に誰がした" - "Who did this to me?". as in, i'm 99% sure this is a reference to something but i can't quite tell what. first instinct was a yutaka ozaki song but that doesn't seem to be the case. there's a japanese reality show with this exact name but i wouldn't bet on that being the reference here. my bad for this shortcoming

if you plan it right, you can vent about whatever bothers you, collect the liquid venom in a bottle and then throw it at ppl (well, i guess that might be a crime but you never know, maybe you can bottle it and call it a self defense spray lol, if not melting through old rusty locks [it would be interesting if we got a flash forward or a chapter focused on the adults and them using their powers for work or so, like her becoming an Exterminator or so--has it been established if animals in the world also have powers? that'd be quite something XD ])
