and that's all she wrote for now! ch25 is the latest chapter but unfortunately i have to go away for around a week, and i couldn't finish it in time before i left. ch25 will be uploaded in around a week~ish

after that the plan is to post the new year's special illustration, and then go back and edit ALL of the older chapters to improve their quality, and to fix yamikawa's nickname as riko-tya, not riko-teya (-tya was always correct i am just dunb)

Goddamn good thing this is a comedy story, cause in a more serious story, their world would be terrifying to live in, with so many reality benders roaming about.

For all you know, you could just be some edgy teen's creation from their imagination.:notlikethis:

"Powers" would make something like the Olympics amusing but other than discrimination or so, i wonder if there are events where they bring in adults with 'cancellation' abilities so ppl can't 'cheat' in stuff like sports (although with 'lucky pervert' considering he immediately gets caught/hit i wouldn't rly consider it all that 'lucky' considering he's not trying to see/touch anything, but idk if he'd be charged as an adult for molesting someone on the train lol)

Tho that one kid that could 'speak to ghosts' to ask the author what they meant was also a form of cheating even tho they were being a smartass about it lol

"encouragement" lol what a power. assuming he can control it and doesn't do it accidentally, you could def monetize that as some inspirational life coach or so XD; (or if he 'evolved' enough to do the 'opposite' of his ability to demotivate ppl, you could also use that for 'evil' i guess lol)

"What he writes turns to reality" hopefully he's not stuck in some creative writing class but i'd simply be like "My parents/house will always be steady/have income flowing in" or something like that lol (tho other than the gov or school knowing, feels like something you'd hide from classmates so they don't pester you or so)

Some observations:
— Makoto-kun looks like the evangelist Saint Matthew, which works great. I’m glad he found a club that suits him; he struggled as a tax collector for the Romans in jr high.
— I .., just going out on a limb…, I think there are a lot of people who would be delighted to accept a pink monster energy in that context.
— emperor of dawn is a deep cut (as is the old ‘yasu is the culprit’ joke that even suzumiya-haruhi-chan used)

With all this bullshit abilities it's a miracle this world didn't get destroyed.

I think it would self-destruct several times a day.

Maybe there was a bigger power wich make this world safe from harm. ( ie, a reality warper who make it that this world won't be destroyed no matter what ).

Based on the fact that no one checked for powers or prevented anything when the gals went to the horse racing track, I don't think they would particularly care whether someone used a power to cheat... But maybe that's what people like about the Olympics in this world— just watching the chaos.

well tbf they never actually gambled for real, they just watched for fun b/c i imagine minors wouldn't be allowed to gamble on horse tracks but yeah i'd think there'd hopefully be setups to where other things can't interfere like someone with some kinda 'whistle' power doing a sound loud enough to only where horses can hear and affect them but i would hope there'd be safety measures like, if someone with a fire power does some kinda 'dance performance' or so and trying to not affect others lol, if not something 'balanced' to where it could be fair or bar is raised higher or so like "Someone with super strength has to double the amount for a weightlifting competition"

As an avid baseball enjoyer, the "riido/rii" would mean that the teammates or coach want the player running the bases to take more distance away from the base to increase their "lead". When you extend your "lead" by going closer to the next base, you leave yourself more vunerable to the opposing pitcher throwing the ball to the base you are currently on and a position player tagging you and causing you to become out. Therefore, there is a min-max game of a lead that the runner has to take to get as close to the next base without getting tagged out, which is told to them by the coach.

So, instead of "We're in the lead" in terms of points (and also not the case because it shows that there were no runs made in the first two innings), "riido/rii" means to increase the lead that the base runner should take.

Note "riido/rii" can also be said by the opposing team to notify the pitcher and catcher that the baserunner is taking a lead, but it does not make too much sense in this scenario because the base runner himself is saying this.

Everybody in this world seems to be pretty chilled out and not really caring about minmaxing their "quirks" and using them in optimal way - which makes sense in a world full of reality benders, why cheat in a competition to get a record that's pretty pointless anyway, when you can just have fun by giving it your all? Maybe everyone just doesn't give a shit and that's why there is no cheating. World full of super-powered people should be pretty utopian place after all.

I see it like some magical society not wanting to use magic for some stuff because it would be boring and lame.

for context in these 2 chapters, the joke is their ability is clashed with their interest or mindset (except the tea ceremony an go home club which is their ability is not affecting the club at all), what would be pikarun's ability does in his club? I want to think something funny but nothing come up
