I mean given that they also have a 'semi-brothel' kinda thing with soaplands (well, not that everyone's forced into it but i imagine other than a small percentage it wouldn't be most ppl's first choice for a job) i can imagine there's plenty of shady 'businesses', yakuza aside

I mean, some 'otaku' stuff might be mainstream but it's still a part of the culture not to 'stick out' although idk how many ppl would own cars in the first place, tho i feel like ita bags would be more common to see in akihabara/at concerts versus ppl driving around in it. tho i suppose it'd stick out if ppl were to try to steal from it

Tho , those pikachu cars, if you can get one legally vs it only belonging to the company to advertise, would be pretty cute to see even if ppl's opinion of pokemon is lower these days
