A long time I followed this Manga.
Thanks to the authors and translator.
That was a good ending : everything is not always black or white like here where this ending is at the same time happy and sad.

I'm so pleased this got finished. Years ago I found this webcomic and then bought the volumes, got them scanned, and started typesetting it back with W3, but after like 6 chapters crazy stuff happened I had to back away from manga for a few years. My biggest regret was this series not getting finished and a heartfelt thanks to the people who worked on this over the years.

Also my apologies for those really bad joke pages at the end of the earlier chapters...

@d3ban
can you tell me about the web spoiler?

I was hoping them to return to their own body, not swapping back after swapping back because the forced tragedy and drama

@d3ban fully agree. on one hand I'm happy they're happy, I guess? but on the other, the ending is just sooooo unsatisfying. What I wanted was for the manga to differ from the grim ending of the web comic, but in a way that made sense.
I didn't want Yui to commit suicide, but that didn't mean I wanted the manga to just forget about resolving all the issues of gender dysphoria, familial dissonance, jealousy, etc. that they both dealt with (and probably will continue to deal with for the rest of their lives now). At the point where the manga ended, the logical progression should have still been the webcomic's ending or something similarly tragic, because other than the bandaid of ~their love~, they're still stuck in the wrong bodies and still identify as the opposite gender.
This epilogue of them somehow becoming a regular nuclear family just doesn't make sense ??? I mean if I extrapolated and imagined possibilities towards this future I could see how they could end up making peace with their (now permanent) situation after a lot of turmoil and growth together, but it shouldn't be on the readers to make up their own thing to make sense of the plot, it should be the job of the author/artist.

Prefer this ending. Real life is depressing enough without depressing bad endings

Hey mods if the series has ended and this is the discussion for the final chapter how can discussing what happened in the comic which didn't happen here be a spoiler?

after reading some of the comments i check the previous chapter... there
it is soo subtle that i did not realized that they switch back again... at first i thought they are in their own body again and they lived happily ever after with the epilogue as the future of the two...
i will say that after learning the truth i am somewhat disappointed at the ending... if they did swithback in their original body and having this as an epilogue then i will be satisfied...

Well well well, so they actually ended up being in their original bodies after all? Because the one who likes ramen was Yuuta. And he's the one who knew Tachibana anyway. Doesn't make sense for Yui to suggest to eat at Tachibana's, she doesn't really know Tachibana.

@Felgon randomly assuming that she didnt get to meet him in the years that we didnt see ? yuuta would definitely have dragged her there because its his favorite shop and shit

and the speech bubble isnt connected to anybody so we dont know who said that

mfw they're immortal now because they'll just swap bodies whenever one of them is about to die. 🤔
