Yo lowkey i think author trying to burn this manga instead of slow cooking it but aside from that he also makes the older sister who is supposed to be smart with life choices and turns her into a stupid woman who doesn't know when to end a relationship so thats my take on take on this chapter and honestly I dont think we gonna see any kind of change or actual development in the MC solving this problem until the next 5 chapters at least...

Everybody makes bad choices sometimes. Especially when it comes to relationships. That's really not an accurate way to judge someone's intelligence.
