She sort of can. That's how she learned to extend her vines early on. She can't use her light magic outside of her body, except healing via nectar, but she can strengthen herself with it to some extent.

nope she can't walk,
but she can grow out of her root... basically she can be everywhere she want...
as long as she extends her root.
She can also turn into loli version and have someone transport her this way...
