Honestly, if it wasnt because of the shitty ending the manga would get so much more appreciation

But, im not sad on how it ended, im happy it existed the very least

Oh wow... I was about to read the manga because of how much I enjoyed the first two seasons on Netflix... but it looks like that won't be a good idea... What on earth happened to make everyone hate this manga?

What has it been? Half a decade? Look at "Le Dessert" chapters, unfortunately the last chap wasnt uploaded here.

I thought that maybe, sure, the ending hints their romance. But I had only just found out that the author claimed he wanted to make Soma and Erina get married, but he didn't have space.

This made us feel worse because, what kind of pathetic excuse was that? Someone made an edit and it proved that even one panel would have been possible, especially with that message of "cooking for someone forever" or something.

Instead we get another ecchi scene with the open-ended ending. Come on, did he think that making that excuse would work? What is the point when you have to say it yourself? What is the point when it's not in the story?

Apart from the cooking, sub-plots are what makes things interesting, and it seems a lot of people who read this felt so too. The fact that a connection between Erina and Soma had been established, yet not completed, made it unsatisfying. So, the story was being wrapped up, yet left these two with the, "their journey continues" type ahh ending. Again, "cooking for someone" dialogue here would have benefitted better if it was given the proper ending to match it.
