ah, it ended; a bit too fast though; if the part about axing is true, then that's just sad; it was fun while it lasted

Was it really axed? I thought the author was in bad shape and had to be hospitalized for a while. When the series resumed the art got rougher so I figured this was ending because they couldn't keep up with serialization work anymore.

That is a good point, maybe it was less the axe and more that they cannot commit to a regular publication so they decided to end it mutually.

It's a shame this is over so soon; I really like Holiday Yasumi's style and the setting is more robust than other TS series I've read. Still, what we got was quite good, and I'm looking forward to any bonuses the volume release happens to come with.

Thanks for all the translations!

The author was still posting daily comics on Twitter, even during the hiatus(es). Holiday-sensei did tweet on the day the chapter came out that read:
Ah, the last chapter of Shoujo Nyuumon is in the Flapper that's on sale today, probably.
Goodbye, Flapper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It might just be the way I interpret the way the tweet is written, but the first sentence seems to imply indifference in that he doesn't even know if the chapter was published that month or not, and the second one reads as a very passive-aggressive "goodbye and good riddance".

If it’s that instance, they could always get the rights back like the idol GB manga and continue self publishing on Pixiv or something.
