More seriously, though; my blood pressure is rising by the second. Our murder gremlin being treated like this is unacceptable. Not to mention the backstory reveal: even though we already knew she was a child experiment, this chapter confirmed that Watari was specifically a child soldier, probably to fight in Earth's last wars.

I wonder how the planet's eclipsing characteristic will affect this arc. It is probably a plot point, but in what way? If the darkest hour becomes literal, I will be so anxious. Talk about a nail-biting setup.

At least we got beautiful start-of-volume color pages of Watari and Ridley being happy together. Yoru no Hitsujigumo's artstyle is always amazing, but when they apply color, things reach another level of breathtaking. How do they do it?!
