A while ago I made a SL request on Reddit for this manga, so I'm very stoked right now. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this scanlation, considering the fact that I originally found this by looking through the least popular manga on MAL; I thought nobody else knew about this lol

Anyways, regarding the first chapter:
I already had high expectations of the manga just from the raws, but it's even better when I understand what is actually going on. It's really relaxing to see Ridley and Watari just do stuff, for some reason, in a Girl's Last Tour sort of way. The artstyle is beautiful as well. Finally, the space aesthetic is cool.

This planet seems to be satirizing systems which seem good for people but rob them of their identity and agency. First comparison that comes to mind is consumerism, where it seems nice, working hard to create and consume, but in doing so you become nothing but a mindless consumer. Overall, this is peak symbolic satire.
