yeah, honestly chako was better before she went through everything. it's almost like everything has turned on its head. instead of me liking chako and hating gen, i 'hate' chako and somewhat like gen

So... why they all hell-bent on staying in this town? There must be some logic behind it? It can't be justified with mental disorder, when people get crazy they don't get obsessed with the same idea. Yeah, it's like the main theme of manga, but still it's kinda jarring, it's just like given fact. Like some sort of curse or brainwashed cult members behavior, and obviously it's not the case here.

I Still like Chako. Chako was always the best though.

Gen I first hated and then liked.

Teacher I first liked and then hated.

Mother I first hated then somewhat liked and then hated.

Nagi is just 90% a pawn of Akira (I'm pretty sure), but I guess I like her somewhat

Reiji literally has no self-agency.

The step-brother is nothing.



Now my thoughts so far cause why nottt:

I kinda hate how Chako never REALLY confessed her love to Reiji. So I really don't mind her going yandere mode, especially since she is the character that deserves the most. I kinda hoped she and Reiji just got out of town together. Or at least reiji and any other girl who was kind to him (at the time...).

I hated how much Reiji just tunnel visioned on Nagi specifically to ignore Chako.

Now everyone is just stuck in this town again, which... I actually dont mind (partly because otherwise the story would be over). It's kinda realistic and funny, and I like the reset kinda since some dynamics are different now, and Reiji is slightly more conscious (of anything). Also having Chako be all depressed and stuff and no longer wanting to be an author/editor is sad, but also I like her more bold personality now.

And yeah the mom is probably faking the amnesia + I hated her because of the double suicide thing.

Also I enjoy how I first hated Akira and Gen but then they both got more fleshed out or literally every other character became much much more despicable.

I suppose I will set off for today's all-nighter. Goodbyeeee
