yo ossan character best boy, laughed really hard at his fear being "paisley" and his bit at the end was cool (though man that was some pretty sad-looking fire on the monster in the bit before that lmfao). that having been said, just read through what's been translated in one sitting. this manga has flown pretty far off course from where it was originally, but i think it needed to make that change in order to have any staying power.
anyway, yeah agreeing with comeonnow0, there was no real reason for them to just go "yeah sure we'll do that," re: going along with the god kid, but i guess we just need to remember 2 things: these are random kids who are ostensibly not familiar with the "death game" as a concept, so they don't have the genre savviness that we the readers have. while it's true that there was no reason for them to trust this other kid, he was the only one who has approached them so far without immediately being hostile (kurose falling for it can be written off with "this dude doesn't give a dang about anything and is just completely unfazed" or sth i guess? idk). second point: this is a death game manga so the characters are legally obligated to do stupid shit and make bad decisions, all we can really do is turn our brains off and enjoy the ride lmao (though this series does have some neat stuff about morality nihilism and existentialism in it).
anyway thanks deathtoll for your hard work on so many series, this is a fun one and i hope it gets stuck with.
