so, i dont think anyone has told the author that this is not how weapons and their durability works, so the last 1-2 chapters including this one has been rather annoying with this non-sense of breaking weapons just from some silly strength alone... you cant just break a sword from strength alone when hitting soft fleshy targets, that sword wont snap, not even if superman was to swing a ordinary steel sword cutting up unarmored humans, that sword wont break for a long time, a staff on the other hand could very much so break from hitting a unarmored fleshy target, but a good quality steel staff given just the right amount of flex wont be permanently bent after hitting a human all that easily as the human will give way long before the staff will be bent to a point where it will be permanently bent, and a high poundage bow you just simply can not ever go wrong with when you have super strength, sure you could pull it so much that it breaks, but thats very unlikely since if you get the correct size on the bow your arms just simply wont be long enough to pull it until it breaks.
oh, and lets not forget that ugly useless guard and spiky pommel that would do the user more harm then good...
