She's aiming to be a golden retriever. I'm not sure that she's actually interested in anyone. She seems naturally bubbly. She definitely knows something is up with Komaki and Wakaba though and I'm not sure what her opinion of that is yet.Oh yes time to get my toxic yuri fix!
Clearly Matsuri has a thing for Wakaba, but several times in this chapter it felt like she was being a bit of a wingwoman for Komaki. Wonder what she's aiming for.
I didn't think she was into Wakaba either...until this chapter. But I'm failing to see a heterosexual explanation for the way she behaved towards Wakaba:She's aiming to be a golden retriever. It's still in that nebulous, "are you just really friendly or are you into me" phase with her. Part of me wonders if she's just picked up on Wakaba's insecurities and wants to help her. That would fit with her seeming to wingwoman at other parts of the chapter and series. I'd need to see something more concrete but it's definitely possible that she has a crush too.I didn't think she was into Wakaba either...until this chapter. But I'm failing to see a heterosexual explanation for the way she behaved towards Wakaba:
"Come give me a hug and smell the perfume I put on for our all-day date today."
"I have fun looking at you, so let's have you try on more revealing clothes."
"I'm going to look you in the eyes and call you cute while I'm peaking on you in your underwear in the changing room."
It's likely the rebound syndrome. It's when you know you have no chance with someone and you do your best to make them happy and close to you without actually confessing you want to be their partner. Matsuri would push and push so that she sees all the bad sides of Komaki. If she ends up succeeding with Komaki, Matsuri will still be the best wingwoman of the century for her. But if it didn't work out at any point in time in the future... guess who's the bestest friend who's going to comfort her.I didn't think she was into Wakaba either...until this chapter.
