Im not gonna lie this exact scenario happened to me twice - once behind the wheel of my car and once in the subway. It wasn't until I found out I was having panic responses and how to properly deal with them that I felt comfortable again. I still tend to avoid high stress scenarios and bike more often to work now but knowing is half the battle and I feel more confident in dealing with my problems

It's rare something in comments like, pisses me off
This comment is most probably a joke, and in no way am I attacking you.
But I am, in a way, obliged to say that
This guy, despite his IQ, found a thing even the smartest people failed to understand:
how to live a life
Yeah, an 180 IQ can give him the chance to be a Nobel Prize winner or a person who will go down in history.
But it's wasted if that person is not happy.
Just like IRL, that genius child who is now called a failed genius. Why? Because they left their post at NASA and are now doing the simplest job of teaching.
But if teaching is what he wants, teaching is what he should do, despite how horrible the world is.
Many geniuses killed themselves, many.
I really wish the fact of 180 IQ, which was mentioned in the story, were used in a way that outright insults the system of IQ.
IDK... but I really hate the importance everyone brings to IQ.
IQ this, IQ that, IQ of my favorite character; a higher IQ is so cool...
It's not, it's really not.
