I know that the CCP gets involved with obscenity laws sometimes, you either comply or get your stuff taken off. There are a few webnovels I read that used to have 18+ content that got taken down after the fact or at least made less explicit. Hell Master of Gu got axed forever by the gov for "promoting unsafe values", even though its just fiction.
It's really weird cause some manhua's are borderline porn and get away with that shit too, wish it wasn't censored.
