Just goes to show that being intelligent doesn't preclude a person from making silly oversights and do stupid things. Probably should have asked around with the staff before assuming that him not being in the castle means he's gone for good, though I guess Noah was under the impression that he was set to bail at any opportunity, guess him being essentially out of her life for basically all of it kind of left her pessimistic about how he might feel about his family, especially since she's not wrong about things being fake beneath the surface (I mean, how is she supposed to know it's real under that fake layer when even her parents haven't figured this fact out yet.)

Won't lie pretty much did this at the start of COVID. One of my coworkers ended up getting it bad and was out for weeks. I eventually declared one night he was now "Dead to night shift if he doesn't show by tomorrow"

The next day came and went, and I declared the next morning at the end of shift, we would hold a brief funeral for him.


...Our boss and day shift had to watch us put battery powered candles in his chair with his photo and have a moment of silence for him that morning at shift change. Our boss declared no one was sane on night shift and repeatedly told us he was not actually dead.

To be fair to Noah "hey, I want to go out of the castle, just circle my wife's favorite spot on the map, I absolutely don't need an escort" could easily be used to escape...

...But dragon wife already has him hooked so the thought of escape doesn't even enter his mind.

Haha attending the funeral of his own, you know this scene reminds me of the anime "Hinamatsuri"
Where Hina holds a funeral of Nitta as a joke whom is kind of father figure to her.
This one.
But no matter what Anzu is the best character in that series. if you have time you can try Hinamatsuri, Good comedy with some emotional moments.

Its been long since i have started reading a ongoing manhwa/hua that i eagerly wait for each chapter, the last time was Girls of the Wilds back in what 2015/16 , Now have to wait for grueling 7 days for each chapter... but i love the series so its alright.
