Wasn't the last page the fake apologizing to the teachers ID card? Kinda sounds like the teacher had survived the initial destruction because she had her own guardian (the fake teacher), and the fake is responsible for the feathers (which seems half corrupt, therefore fallen angel) that our angel is bothered by.

I get what you mean and agree, but I wouldn't use the word "fake" to describe not-sensei. She's clearly more akin to Hikari than to ordinary human beings. And yeah, her skeletal wings, incomplete halo and bandaged body suggest a fallen and/or wounded angel (if that's what these creatures really are). She may not be trying to pass herself off as sensei, though.

I'm guessing, as you suggest, that she is (or was) sensei's guardian, and may have sensei's form for that reason alone. Perhaps she's fading/dying now that sensei is gone, as Hikaru said she would without Michiru.

If you want someone to do something for you, asking nicely and, y’know, not attacking them, are pretty goddamn important in getting them to actually do what you want. Especially if they’re a child, now you’re probably gonna die because you attacked him instead of talking to him.
