Honestly. I remember watching a manga youtuber cover this series with his play by play. I genuinely don't even remember- nvm it was the yandere part.

But in all seriousness, This story was just all over the place. It had themes it had the background. But really this was a meek child dealing with the repercussions of his actions only to then be okay with life with the angel that messed it up.

The whole world was messed up. Literally.

So basically the world is doomed forever because of his actions & is probably going to keep relocating until everything is eaten or they find a place that won't get eaten. Pretty much a bad end for everyone even though we have no idea who that masked monk climbing the stairs (I think we've never seen him?) near the end. Can't say I am happy about this resolution but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they want a time waster. The author does have another series currently running that hasn't been translated since the 1st chapter & the premise will make you say "WTF!!?? and I can fix her." Anyways I appreciate this getting translated to the end.

The monk is an angel, already shown but anyway the plot wasn't interesting, they just plan to live until their world is fully destroyed, at least i feel like they'll accept death happyly when it will be their time(it won't be long from how the world is getting eaten)

Hope it gets translated, because DDADDICTION is a whole riot.
Sometimes it feels like a slasher manga; other times it throws you off with some quasi-NTR vibes or pure gore paired with an offbeat comedic tone and batshit insane characters—a total trip. (There are currently 20+ chapters)

That being said, the reception of VOL 1 was atrocious, so who knows how long it’ll last. Although it doesn’t do too badly online, so that’s its saving grace, I guess.

on page 18 we see some angels gather, maybe in hope of a new angel being born, going by the last chapter, but this story ends very much left open. the creatures don't feel natural, so they might be part of the reset process. i can only hope the angels be able to fix the world now that hikari has become unable to yield such powerful magic, so the world might be healing. what becomes of humanity is to be seen.

but all this is purely speculation and no hard facts are given so i'm just as confused as everybody else and rather disappoined. as an artist, i'd give Bakanoko some good credits but as an author, this was a disaster.

This probably has much, much deeper angelic context(for all the Abrahamic religions)that were supposed to be slowly explored, but now it's quickly given to us.

Still pretty nice overall.
