I'm only going by his Wikipedia page so I could be wrong but he explicitly said he felt no remorse near the end of his life.He listed his kills as his sins in his private memoirs, so I'm not sure that's really true.
Seems like the soldier he shot pressed his trigger near death, but the bullet randomly rikocheted and hit SimoWait, so, Simo disfigured himself in a misfire?
Nah, an enemy sniper shot him with an exploding bullet while Simo was commanding a squad of troops during a fire fight.Wait, so, Simo disfigured himself in a misfire?
I think that's based on the answers he gave to questions about the war. When asked what he felt when he took a shot, his answer was "the recoil", and when asked if he regretted it, he said he did what he had to.I'm only going by his Wikipedia page so I could be wrong but he explicitly said he felt no remorse near the end of his life.
Yeah I agree, I just find the inclusion of severe PTSD in this chapter's depiction to be a bit revisionist. I'm sure he felt compassion though.I think that's based on the answers he gave to questions about the war. Note that none of these explicitly deny that he also may have felt compassion for the enemy soldiers after the fact, or that he may have considered the whole situation a tragedy to begin with. I think it's hard to judge a person based off what they say in public, and again, his private memoirs hint at him having had more thoughts on the matter that he just did not disclose while alive. He clearly felt it was his duty to do what he did, but anything more is speculation. And I think this idea of him as a stone cold killer is more pop culture than objective reality.
Oh, sure, that's definitively just the author's creative liberty at work. Though, it's not like the other fighters were any more historically accurate in their writing, so this is kinda just par for the course.Yeah I agree, I just find the inclusion of severe PTSD in this chapter's depiction to be a bit revisionist. If someone shot his balls at me with a magic Nagant I'd die regardless whether it hits me or not. The sheer disrespect alone would kill meSo... Can Simo sacrifice his balls?
I can agree with that, but it's nothing new to this series considering everything about Tesla.Rewriting ancient history is one thing, but rewriting modern documented history is just cringe.
A communist soldier fired an explosive round into his jaw, historically. In the manga, it was also fired by one, but didn't seem to be explosive.Wait, so, Simo disfigured himself in a misfire?
The volunds aren't "a weapon" but rather they help their users manifest the tools they desire, i.e. they're a conduit for humans to attain limited divinity.I don’t get why the fuck they made all that shit of how you can’t Volund the bullets without a heavy prince even though Jack was doing that with knives, stones and even the Big Ben. Simo Haya shouldn’t have that nerf.
I am still depressed that the next fight won't be with Sekmeht. Author has gone on record that he doesn't want women fighting
can't see this fight ends until he sacrifice his own heart
