Although Simo Hayha vs Loki battle was short and there are many boring parts, what impressed me is the Loki's feelings for Brunhilde make he become a quite pitiful villain.

I feel like a better explanation as to why Simo could tell the location of the real body, would be his ability to see Loki's breath in the low temperatures. The copies are non-living, and thus wouldn't need to breathe.

Honestly? This fight made me respect Loki a little. Sure he's a terrible person for what he did, but he really did put everything on the line in an impressive trick, and to the end he held on to his love for Hilde, however twisted it may have been. Just for that he deserves some acknowledgement, and maybe some pity too. Though I resent his actions, I'll never not respect that sort of dedication.
