Hey, so are you guys are sticking with "La Toile" as their name? The switch in scanlators from the original group would have been a good opportunity to tweak a few names that had been incorrectly translated (such as David instead of Davy/ie wayyy back when).

Hey, so are you guys are sticking with "La Toile" as their name? The switch in scanlators from the original group would have been a good opportunity to tweak a few names that had been incorrectly translated (such as David instead of Davy/ie wayyy back when).

As I might have mentioned before, we use Spanish scans to make translations and a person who knows Japanese does the check if the script is going too far from original.

As for the names, we thought of changing them, but they felt weird as we were accustomed to the existing name and kinda leads to confusion sometimes when the character comes back later

Although we did tried to change names to anime counterpart, but didn't do that for the same reason

[For example: Kfufu was now what we remember on the spot but not the version where she is named "Kekeke" (super weird now) or "kufufu" (not a big change)]

What is Fadingbang supposed to be/mean?

I choose this name due to how I used to play my CoD games. Because I had a potate device and shit network, I could only hear the sounds (the "bang") and the shot I fired were only missing ("fading") the shot

so as to show I am a shit player I coined the name FadingBang (can also be said it based on anime character called "Silver Fang" with my shit shooting skills)

Although I am now a whole lot damn better with better network and good device (still not that good device though)

And so now this name means to me as you got "banged" and now can only hear the "fading" sound of bullets without being able to do anything to me.

Lavoir, Ravoir, La Voile, you name it. The difference is that it's a "v" in their name, not a "t" (ラヴォワール).

As for @fadingbang, thank you for replying. Yeah, I figured it was a matter of what readers were already used to. I just wish the original group hadn't taken liberties with this stuff (like inserting foreign words into a foreign character's speech for flair when there's no reason to because the bracelets are translating everything) but I suppose I'm nitpicking. Anyway, still, your translations are very much appreciated.

If this manga was a biweekly/monthly or we didn't had such a big backlog to clear (100+ chapters), we would definitely have changed things,

But with me busy with my family and college(final year is more hectic due to no job/money issues), inexperience in scanlation (started first time in October), I haven't been able to approves the drafts quickly

I have already received the Typesetted files upto C113 (I love my team for that), but due to my various quality standards, I don't like to just upload them right away without checking and editing (believe me, I make a lot of editing and corrections, even though the received draft ain't bad at all)

So I hope in future I will be able to keep contributing to this title because each day makes me feel guilty of holding such great story back
