First you neglect your child, then you briefly connect, take her to an active warzone into an area that hasn't been sweeped for bombs, the predictable thing happens through really no fault of hers, and you immediately neglect your grieving, traumatized, crippled child again? You're really just going to ignore her again while the hired help is guiding her through her trauma? Her mother might not be an awful person underneath it all, but she definitely should never have had a child.

Poor Pilse, still too young to realize just how right she was when she was talking about how she was so similar to her mother. Neither one of them knows how to talk to the other after what happened those fateful days. Both yearn for each other's understanding and forgiveness, but until they can actually face each other again, they won't learn they already have it.

TS for this chapter here, that was a mistake by the QC who uploaded it, they accidentally switched the layers around. It's fixed now.

I know the character isn't in the chapter but i have a question, what gender is Louise, i know it's stupid of a question but in the latest publish french volume (23), Louise is refer as a "He" when i'm fairly certain it's a girl. I'm just wondering if it's a massive fucked-up of the official TL.

I think the big issues are that

1. mom was probably still feeling guilty for what she almost said and also bringing her there but we can only ASSUME that
2. we didn't see them reconcile ONSCREEN
3. we never saw the mom react to her being a successful hero

Like even though the story portrays the mom as important at the it ends up ignoring this stuff,
gives this feeling of disappointment due to a lack of content

Plus it contradicts the importance of communication
