I thought that for about 2 seconds before I realised it would also work for China... which kinda ruins it.

Still, the possibility of it being a kanji-based power rather than an exclusively fire-based power is high.

Fire and calligraphy? That's a really cool concept usually you would think of water because of the "flow" of the strokes, but fire with calligraphy makes some potential for beautiful center folds if the artist is skilled enough to pull it off.
