@luckpack

This is the dumbest thing. Why would you expect a newcomer to defeat a veteran? And why would you kick out the newcomer if they lost in a fight???? Isn't the whole point to teach them?

It's a sink-or-swim tactic to get SHY to awaken whatever her particular special ability is. (Something like Stardust's redirection ability, for instance.) Nobody expects her to defeat Stardust here. Her win condition is just landing a single hit on his face. What Unilord and Stardust want is to push SHY so far into a corner that she can only get out by pulling on whatever completely bullshit power she really has.

I actually like the idea of an older, more experienced (if self-admittedly psychopathic) hero doing this in a controlled environment far more than the usual "I suddenly got my crazy super ability while fighting the villain of the week or an arc villain or something!"

Well, she isn't supposed to actually beat him, just one hit is enough.

His power is similar but different to accelerator and Regulus Corneas

I really hate the "I'm going to beat the shit out of you because that's obviously going to make you stronger" it's like telling a 10 year old to do a serious fighting match against someone like Mike Tyson, it's not going to make the 10 year old stronger, it's actually going to make the 10 year old weaker, they'll get seriously injured (maybe killed) and will never ever want to fight anyone in their life again. Just teach the person how to do shit normally.

@Zinon Yeah, I agree with you. Beating up one up or tell them to beat the impossible is just a stretch to the become stronger. It's just cliché for any super hero series.

And the example of the 10 years old being up against Mike Tyson is just hilarious😄

Well, that's shonen for ya.
I guess I have to force myself through this fight, but it's okay.

What the fuck...? I know shounen mangaka can't write, but this is bottom-tier garbage. What authority does he have to make her stop being a hero? Why do they all follow this "Uni-lord" girl? Why is their base in space? How do they get their powers? Are there rules for said powers, or can they go from controlling how fast you cab blink to altering reality itself? Why is a 14-year-old girl a hero? And why are they all okay with a middle-aged dude fighting a young girl?

This manga has left me with more questions than anything else. I'm even questioning how the mangaka got this published.

yeah this chapter was stupid
why is he such a hard ass on a rookie? don't give me that bullshit on how "lacking empathy is his power" because if he lacks empathy then why did he donate 5 BILLION DOLLARS for charity? the fucking author can't even get the characters attributes straight

It's not exactly the power of friendship, but it's similar. Fortunately it is explained canonically so I don't have beef with it

Yeah, this is full Mahou Shoujo. Give it a few chapters and the middle-school girl will be the strongest in the world... through the powers of friendship, kindness and love.

I'ma just go vomit up rainbows and glitter.

... Still gonna keep reading though. For now. It isn't awful yet. Just clichéd.

Goddammit this is turning into your cliche, boring idealistic preaching about the power of friendship and justice again. Fuck.
you have the guy with almost no sympathy for other being strong! what more do you wanna? every one has theri own way of being an hero! one with compassion and one with no sympathy for most of the things in life!

that is such a garbo take tho! she ain’t an god damn child given she already has by default superhuman strenght! she ain’t gonna crak that easy and at the same time did you use your brain to think this is maybe the only method for her to get that power out??? no ofc not you just user your feelings to ignore the story because you don’t like how they do their stuff
