Imo, they made a good point about how there are alternate tools that can be used, while the one she uses has a school-wide ban. Although that's all it is, a single good point that is
easily refuted by pointing out that while other tools exists, one should strive to enable her as well as possible, letting her use the tools that works the best for her (or that she is simply the most comfortable with). To take it to an extreme: you don't stop people from using wheelchairs (on the grounds that vehicles indoors are banned in your school) just because they can traverse by crawling with their arms.
