I must have missed this chapter because I can't remember reading this. I was wondering how they transitioned from about to go get something to eat, him grabbing her ass, and then bam ... they're in a hotel?
So, it was good(?) old blackmail. Hyun is AT LEAST comfortable enough to believe that Gunner can't kill him. At the very least, he can hold his own for a few minutes. I still think he was bluffing just a little bit. Plus while he may be able to defend himself Sophie doesn't have that option.
