Not sure about other people, but around here you'd pay literally 1/30th that price for a frying pan. My mother has a frying pan that she's used for 20 years. So I'm guessing you'd have to cook 30 times more than she did in the same frame of time before this expensive pan gets worn.
Funny thing is, her pan isn't worn... so when would the pan start to pay for itself? (spoiler alert: never)
