That's indeed a good question huh, she definitely went all out and used all spirit at once but still the outcome is insane when you think about the level of her opponents and how dangerous relics are.

Because I'm a moron. Thanks for pointing that out by the way, I'll fix it now.

I actually still have 'Alice' in my head when I see Elis, it's going to take a while to shake the habit. Not to knock the author, but Elis is a fairly weird translation for エイリス. If I were translating this blind, I'd probably have gone for something closer to Eirith or Eiris. But the mangaka said there's a good reason her name is the way it is so we have to trust them.

The "magic spirits" little girl at the start of the chapter talks about should be tled something along the lines of "spirits that preside over magic". When big little sister snaps and chants her buffs she explicitly calls on what seem to be ALL of said magic controlling spirits and, by the looks of it, turns into a magic god. And a magic god should have no problem neutralizing a few energy beam weapons made out of lowly isekai'd humans. Well at least that's my interpretation.

yes you misunderstood. They're saying that of those capable of the previous rank, 1 in 10 are capable of getting to the next rank
so 1/100 1/1000 1/10000 etc

I know I'm replying to a very old comment, but it's my impression that the high wizard never managed to fire his holy particle-beam weapons. He was about to, but was so startled by Elis's transformation that he stood down in shock. He was still recovering from the stun effect when Elis surgically vaporized him and his entire team.
