Probably the defining lines down the stomach (the sides and belly) aren't matching our expectations of what happens when one twists our upper bodies 90 degrees.

She won't. In the LN no one will bone any one. That's why I disliked the LN quite a bit. There is zero and I repeat zero romance in it, or boning in the LN. Arc is a typical herbivor japanese mc. He's great friends with aria and the rest... nothing more. Though I did noticed they changed quite a bit in the manga.

Yes you misremembered. Even in the LN it's not quite clear who she's engaged with, if I remember correctly it's a farmer.

That's one of the parts they haven't taken over from the LN though. Because there he did have a methode to return to his fleshy body (he's a brown skinned elf with purple eyes btw)
