Yeah, the frozen remains of the monsters raining down over the mountains sounds cool, until the ice melts and suddenly everything in 5 square miles is covered in bits of rotting insect.

Unless this is the magic never-melting ice, which has its own problems. Can't be good for the environment if all the plants are covered in eternal ice, making everything unseasonably cold

It's a fantasy world. A bunch of rotting insects and eternal ice is not really a big deal
