Well, yes and no. I think it's her near-complete sunniness that makes him feel better . . . she's, like, a walking safe space, a well of reassurance that things can be good.As brilliant as Mitsumi is, there's just some part of his life she can't touch...
because in the end we can't hate our parents. We can be mad but they're a part so important of our lives we can't separate. So Shima was getting rejections because none in the cast wanted to have her Karen-ass mom around. It checks out to be honest and yet again It justifies how Ririka went for her throat after seen her on the other school festival.
Poor lad thou, she treated him like shit and yet he still feels bad for her mom
That's still better than nothing, have a similar experience and haven't had the chance to even get the apology it turns into her own problems from childhood (which was bad, it really was), but messing with your kids life is still a bummer. I hope you're feeling alright and it's great that even with getting the half hearted apology you know you're not the one at fault.I have had experiences where my mother's actions have restricted my opportunities and later blaming those failures on a lack of effort on my part. IDK if I had a better ending because my mother made a half-hearted apology saying that she feels sad that I didn't feel like I was supported. It's not that she didn't support me. It's still my fault.
