He kinda played with her feelings i hated that.

Oh god did you go blind when reading about his story? Cuz this is just pure stupid ugh. Can you just take him as a person instead of a love interest for a sec? That is literally the point of this manga.

He did not play with her feeling, in fact, she is the only girl he cares THAT MOST in his life (platonically or not). The reason he didn't stand up for her aint because he didn't care about her, it's because he cares too much about everything, that is his personality, his way of surviving, he has been like that HIS WHOLE LIFE, overly considerating, his feeling was basically numbed and broken.

"I don't have the right the be happy or mad"
It was Mitsumi, Kanechika and everything else that helped him to finally accept that he can be "happy". But still, mental problems always hard to be completely fixed and it needs time. That why it would take his most precious friend, Mitsumi, be mad at him for him to change and think he has the right to be "mad" at other people.

Honestly I feel if Mitsumi and Shima get together it'll probably be after highschool. Shima has his own personal problems from childhood that he needs therapy for, and Mitsumi needs more experience in love and overall social outings. I feel like the best outcome for both would be after they've gone through relationships with other people and gained experience apart from one another they should get together.

nevertheless what i said fmc having a new love interest is far impossible since romcom mangas tend to have a linear couple, unless this manga isnt.

and long term relationship(in terms of feelings), if youre an adult, youd just ignore that thing and just settle whoever you end up with that is willing. Thats the reality of it. Well im just talking out of my own opinions and experiences but not disagreeing there are failed relationships that even get better after the post break up.

Sounds like you just know crappy people. Change up your life a bit and you’ll find someone just like that. The fact that you haven’t means you’ve given up.

Because that scene of Mitsumi realizing that Ujiie might be interested in her would be just so... Oh my God.
I can imagine the soundtrack, the thriller music, the hard cuts...

Parents worrying about that 7 hour drive made me lol...! Been doing long road trips all my life, when I was 18 I did a 2 day drive with a friend. 7 hours is nothing, especially if you've got a 2nd driver. The only thing is it's a bit of a drive for one adult to do on their own.

Also, no one seems to care that shortie got a girlfriend but I'm actually happy for him! He found a girl he genuinely liked instead of settling for whoever liked him first. I hope he confessed!
