Why so? Nothing is simple in a relationship and you easily get stuck into a mindset that blocks proper communication. This usually sets conditions for breakup but once that takes place, you may realize that you miss the other person and ponder about your shortcomings. It actually takes some courage to get back together, to try to discuss what failed and how to improve. It may be boring in mangas since it always seems to happen on a whim, but in real life, when done for good reasons, it's probably a key to a successful long term relationship.

and long term relationship(in terms of feelings), if youre an adult, youd just ignore that thing and just settle whoever you end up with that is willing. Thats the reality of it. Yeah true but he asked her out without having real feelings cause he knew she loved him. He kinda played with her feelings i hated that. In her place would you want to be close friend with him ? I speak from my own experience. My wife and I broke up after 3 years of going out together then almost got a divorce after 10 years of marriage. And we talked it through both times and now have been married for 26 years quite happily. Breaking up is caused by a lot of circumstances, not just because of what the people are at any given time. And people are not cast in bronze, they change. I'm not an special person and so isn't my wife. If we managed to do that, most people can do it also and there are certainly a lot who do. It won't always work, there are plenty of legitimate reasons to break up. But there also bad reasons to do so and if you don't face them, you're bound to repeat it again.
Quite a serious discussion for a manga forum, probably my fault for trying to talk about real life after misunderstanding that you were talking about manga tropes.
