im not sure i got it... the furry empire defeated the human tribes, and than the human tribes created monsters using magic, and than the princess of the furry empire created a human monster out of someone of the human tribe that now hunts both humans and furries alike?
why???

@neorasp The tribes the furry empire is fighting now are not the same as the tribes they defeated before, as I understand, and what the princess exactly did is unclear (except that she seems to be out of favor with the furry empire for doing it). What she did was control magical creatures to kill the empire's enemies, but it's unclear how the protagonist fits into that (except for being used as bait). Quite possibly there will be some twists to this.

Furry empire went around taking over countries and reducing the population in those countries to basically slaves
They made war with the race of demi humans called horns who had magical powers,
They somehow managed to wipe out the majority of this race just after the horn people created the monsters called quaid
Years later the furry empire orders its armies/slaves to fight against another country called nebelese
Furry princess somehow gained the power to control/guide the monsters and sent them against nebelese that were fighting her slave army, which resulted in deaths on all sides.
A member of the horn people found our heroine here and used magic to restore her(not the princess, you can see in chapter one the unknown shorty has horns)
Now princess is in exile for heresy due to magic being forbidden and is being hunted by the heroine

Right, I missed those horns on the furry one. Although I don't think it's entirely clear that they did anything; she's already white-haired when she wakes. But stands to reason that they did something (maybe they are also the ones who sabotaged the princess' control over the quaids? So she didn't actually plan any betrayal? Could be, perhaps).

yo, haha.
I expected the protagonist to ask the girl to wait on her bed, as she escapes through the window, to momentarily throw off the soldiers. Sure didn't expect that.
