I can't imagine someone with a 'bad personality' being 'selfless' versus "yeah i'm an asshole but i'll do some things for the greater good" given her two faced attitude so far but she did seem to be more 'hostile'/cold versus 'afraid'

What I mean to say is she may have a bad attitude now, but perhaps she isn't inherently a selfish person.

People often express a poor personality when circumstances apply pressure and stress to them, but they can change when given the chance. And that should be contrasted with truly selfish or narssisstic people who will never be anything different.

I suppose so, other than being aggressive b/c she's with jelly (tho she doesnt seem fond of celes either) i can totally picture there being 'lazy' saints that wanna half ass things, if not use it to their advantage like "i'll heal soldiers if the team gives me 100 gold per person"/extorting, tho that might be preferred compared to OG Jelly's torture lol

But yeah other than being overworked(?) and having more demands foisted on her, she didn't seem to be worn out as opposed to like, "i've got a good gig/thing going on where i am i don't wanna risk being transferred" tho i imagine they'd probably have to summon multiple saints at a time for stuff assuming they're not spread throughout the country

I'm guessing the reason the saints seem to all be kinda corrupt.
Is because they are told as children, that they are the only ones that can do a very important task.
Such a thing will go to anyone head, however to a child its permission to do anything you want.
And for a child who hasn't a fully developed brain, it would defiantly end with them being sinful in some form.

To be fair, they did already kill the wrath one if this is going to be a thing.

Jelly was more Sadist then Wrathful. Wrathful saint is likely out of the picture and busy Crusading.

Separating Jelly from her snacks, oh how cruel. Fortunately she brought an entire bag of cookies with her... until she accidentally crushed it back to crumbs and powder. Poor girl, what a tragedy.

Ange is saintess #3 to be introduced so far, if I haven't forgotten anybody. She's got quite the thinly veiled hostility against Jelly which is... unsurprising, unlike her disdain towards Celestria, which makes her give off the feeling that Ange's a not-so-pleasant saintess herself, maybe even not too far from the original Jelly.
