Just started. Cool concept, but dislike the execution. Way too much focus on physical differences (which I bet gets skipped pretty quick). Not nearly enough on mental difference. Don’t need some kind of edgy amoral MC, but it’s weird having the slime essentially be mentally a human from the start. And there should definitely be more exploration of the ability MC discovers all slimes apparently have. Like, apparently you get memories but it’s not thorough at all?

Plus it’s just weird for the ability to be like that. It’d be like if people all had the ability to fly. Like, something we’re all very much designed to do. We’re all masters of it in a way no other creature can. But only ones that know about it are those who accidentally discovered it.

This is the kind of story I imagine suddenly having a massive twist in the middle, where you realize all the weird questions are actually intentional and the meh writing was all due to the MC somewhat being a brainlet. Unfortunately, meh writing is usually meh writing.

Edit: After reading a bit more… it’s alright. Still feel like there’s a missed opportunity in the world building, and many of the characters seem kind of daft, but MC is a fun airhead to watch.
