Mon-chan is apparently Octopus Dr.Wily now, sure why not.

And with that, we have caught up with the raws. Youkan's upload schedule is pretty random, they usually upload at most 4 chaps per year. Last one was in Jan 2026, so MAYBE we are due the next chap soon?

Oh, and this is likely the end of VOL 2, so maybe something big will happen next time, since it would be the beginning of vol 3.

Okuda's mouth/beak is under her skirt at the center of her arms/legs. Having that fly at you would be terrifying so no wonder the bear ran away.
She has been shown in previous chaps to eat somewhat normally, I believe the Kotatsu chaps shows an example of this. It seems that octonoid mouths are somewhere below their chin.

Mon-chan sure is a handy gal. Her lil mechanic suit is adorbs!!!

Did you know? Most octopi are quite fast! Some are even fast on land, though "fast" on land is relative. They have a rather unwieldy gait on land which allows for lurching speed. In the water, it's a completely different story! Octopi typically swim by boosting through the water with a system of valves which push seawater out through "vents", and that gives them repeated bursts of speed, especially when they take off from the ocean floor! I should note that they prefer to avoid straight up chases however. Most of their predators are usually just straight up faster than they are, which is why they rely on camo and their ability to squeeze into super tight spaces to avoid predation... Or in the case of Blue Rings, their toxic bites and poisonous flesh.

Another fun fact is some species take a different approach to avoiding predators. Mimic Octopi, for instance, are capable of mimicking the shapes and movements of other animals! They've been known to mimic frogfish and lion fish, as well as stingrays!
