@Mendax for those, like myself, with a slow Internet connection, mangadex has always been notoriously slow, so slow that I would rarely read anything here. A full chapter in long strip mode that would take 2 seconds to load on any of the other sites would take a minute or more, that is, if it loaded completely at all. Today, however, mangadex has out-shined itself in the race to be the slowest loading manga site ever.

Before the maintenance, it took me 2 to 3 seconds to load a full chapter.
Now, it's been 9 minutes and I think I'm halfway through... loading a single cover page, that is.

The website in general seems very slow to me, just the frontpage alone took me a full minute. And chapters funnily enough do load, given that page 1 is loaded. Once that page is loaded the rest is just as quick as it normally is for me.🤔
