It absolutely is, but it's "for the drama", so it's excused. Unfortunately, fiction, especially comics/manga tend to use lots of physical actions to convey the mood/tone.PLEEEEEEAAAAASE tell me shit like this is unusual and absolutely unacceptable in mlm relationships.
That’s assault and/or battery in America, even outside partners, and DV an additional offence on top here.

I think it's on you to take that seriously or not.PLEEEEEEAAAAASE tell me shit like this is unusual and absolutely unacceptable in mlm relationships.

Ummm…I think it's on you to take that seriously or not.
Just like many het romances, many BL or GL titles don't represent reality, and that's totally fine. People like to explore darker topics in fiction, it's fine to be uncomfortable with that too.
But if those types of situations make you that emotional, I suggest sticking to reading manga aimed at pre-teens. They're very wholesome and safe.
The absolute gall to be so damn patronizing about a completely valid point, which I also happen to agree with. It's entirely out of place in this manga and isn't even addressed in the subsequent chapter. Violence should never be normalized in any form of argument, which is exactly what is being done by casually inserting it (not even "exploring it", as you say) into an otherwise grounded story.I think it's on you to take that seriously or not.

If I wanted to read about a toxic relationship, I'd read something like After Killing You, not Slow Morning. At the very least, I'd expect it to be acknowledged and remedied if it were to be included. Not glossed over with a brief "I'm sorry" and "let's have sex".
You need to reflect on your attitude, seriously.
