Crazy...even though in my head I knew this was an autobiography, it still felt like fiction, but watching Akihito Yoshitomi’s YouTube channel and then seeing him mentioned here just really drove it in.

Wha-! Yoshitomi Akihito and Higashimura Akiko studied under the same art teacher? Yoshitomi-sensei is a wonderful writer and an awesome artist. Higashimura-sensei writes really well too, judging from this manga, but her art style looks kind of slapdash. I'm surprised her art teacher entrusted her with teaching other students.
