Side Stories (which are actually the story from the point of view of other reincarnator) have a letter in front of their chapter number.
But in the WN, the ratio used to be around 1 Side Chapter per 5 normal Chapters.
So you have a lot of side chapters to read to catch up (but they are important, since some things are explained in there that aren't explained anywhere else.)
However, here's a warning.
The MC of most SS will make you want to punch him.

Nah. Her student is the next mage that she meets.

moel, impossible. This manga is *based on* the light novel (which, itself, is based on the web novel).
Asking those who have read the origin of this story is like telling people who experience things based off of Shakespearean works to not compare it to the original play. It's like making the assertion that anything in this world is written in a void, unrelated to all other works or experiences the author has had.
Now, with relation to giving spoilers outside of their tags... That is against the websites rules anyway, and against common courtesy... But if it is behind a spoiler it is the reader's stupidity to open the spoiler when they don't want the information to be spoiled...
And you cannot expect people to not inform others thwt this is work based off of something... That is more unreasonable than people not using spoiler tags...

Man, can you imagine...
You're a good mage, praised by your village for being a genius. After years of study, you decide to mount an expedition group to explore the higher levels of a dungeon.
There, you get confronted by a giant snake that wipes your party and proves how worthless you are in reality.
Then, out of nowhere, a giant spider appears, one shots the snake like nothing, heals your group with a level of magic you've never seen and then just BAMFs out after picking up the snake and an acorn.
Yeah, that wouldn't be strange if a new religion suddenly appears in the human world. Also, the mother of the actual spider is pretty much a real god. Or a demon.

Philinle, no, I am saying you cannot reference a movie version of Hamlet without referencing the play version of Hamlet.
This manga is based on a light novel, and while it obviously has parts that are based on completely unrelated stories this has direct relation to the light novel and loose relation to "other things." Not referencing the literal source material is impossible (unless you don't know it exists) as referencing the mange IS referencing the light novel.

Isn't it a fruit though? The top looks leafy, and I can totally imagine her freaking out over a fruit after subsisting solely on monster meat for so long.
