@1234muse They do look kinda similar but their torso and that fidget spinner thingy are too bulky. It is just the design choice they went with and I don't have anything against it but it might become troublesome later on in the story.
Unless Kumo just makes them a new body entirely which is also possible.
@Azekiel
Both LN artist and manga failed at puppet designs as described in text. They should be with Asura-like arms, totally faceless, with genderless artist manikin-like body and have normal swords in their hands.
@Porotamer Puppet Taratects are too strong to be destroyed that way (stats over 10k), and spatial storage is just storage, not transfer, so there's no pressure. She's just drowning them lol.
@Azekiel What do you... mean?
I've only ever read the manga, so I had no idea what they were 'supposed to be' but the very first thought I had (admittedly, as an artist) was artist mannequins. And nothing has really changed that opinion, never even considered mechs for that matter.
Yeah the shoulder joint is obviously atypical but well, a normal mannequin wouldn't be sufficient for that in general.
@Vmpslushie
Manga skipping rules.
Space storage can't store nothing that is considered alive and can't store something other is touching.
The puppet is connected to the fist size spider.
Swimming is the most unexpected "skill" in an isekai. Was totally expecting some nonsense about water manipulation or something, but something this simple is good too.
