The very premise of the manga is to build structures that suits the lifestyle and environment of the tenants, so playing the fantasy card doesn't even make sense.

The lifestyle, environment and even the tenants themselves are literally fantasy creatures dude. How does it not make sense that the architecture involves fantasy in some way?

I do think the jumping around is neat, but having the meals on TOP of the mushrooms is what gets me. They're strong enough to support the really huge monsters AND won't sway from all the jumping cats? You avoid any spores falling on the food, but food from higher mushrooms can still fall on lower ones. With the large monsters also getting tall mushrooms, that could actually be lethal.

And offloading all the confusing signs and stairs on the customers feels like putting the cart before the horse.

Nah you're actually nitpicking here. How do you know the mushrooms in this world are the same as the mushrooms in our world? Was it ever stated? Also does it makes sense that something that huge reproduce through tiny spores? Like I said, you're nitpicking details that isn't mentioned so you assumed it in a way that would prove your point.

Yeah, and I've been commenting on nearly every chapter if the logic really makes sense to me or not. Some of them really work, other bits sound contradictory, skirt much simpler solutions, or basically imply that everyone is reliant on these dwarves long-term with planned obsolescence and dependence.

The other ones were clear enough, but this one just has me vaguely in doubt about the whole concept.
I get what you mean. Also, having the giant mushrooms serve as tables wouldn't exactly be reliable, since the mushrooms will die eventually, so they'd have to keep changing tables. Also, wouldn't the catsiths get tired of jumping up and down so much? Not to mention the eventual accidents of missing the jump or dropping the food.

But in the end you just shrug and accept it, doesn't really have to make that much sense, it mostly just has to look cool and make a bit of sense. Giant mushrooms are traditional in any fantasy forest setting, so it's nice that the author found a creative use for them.

Are you....are you saying that they should put the tables UNDER the mushrooms? The LESS fantasy option?

and I don't think you understand what the fantasy card means.

I'm not saying anything close to that. The fact that you literally have to construct something as ridiculous as that proves how pointless your whole argument is. I'm literally just saying "the mushrooms in this world isn't the same as the mushrooms in our world". That's all. Nothing about putting the tables under it. Also I don't think you understand anything about all this. Even your own argument.

I get you. To me it also seems kinda odd to put the kitchen at the bottom? Now both the food and the customers start out at the bottom and head to the top. Why not at least keep the largest and heaviest customers at the bottom, and put the kitchen in the middle or at the top? Or make the kitchen taller.

The customers acting like jerks pisses me off. Heck, I don't even know if they're even paying for the stuff they eat, for all I know the cats are serving those food for free because they really don't want anyone to be hungry.
